Mediation
for better solutions
Mediation is a structured and confidential process that supports people in addressing conflict constructively, restoring professional relationships where possible, and reshaping communication patterns. Used early, it helps prevent escalation, reduce disruption, and support more sustainable ways of working together.
I offer mediation to individuals, teams, and organisations in maritime and related operational settings. The process is confidential, and I act impartially throughout.
Depending on the situation, sessions can take place on board, ashore, or online, including during voyages or between rotations. Meetings usually last 60–90 minutes. Some situations can be resolved in just a few sessions, while more complex matters may need additional time to reach outcomes that are workable and sustainable for everyone involved.
Having worked both at sea and ashore, I understand the realities of maritime operations, including organisational responsibilities, time pressure, fatigue, and multicultural crews. My approach to Mediation is adapted to these unique conditions and designed to complement existing onboard and company procedures.
